To participate in amateur artistic or athletic competition, where no monetary prize is awarded, and no admission fee is charged. 4. To sightsee, tour, or travel for general leisure. 5. To participate in artistic or amateur sport competitions, whenever no monetary prize or paid admission is involved.
Tourist visa holders are not allowed to engage in any paid activity in Brazil.

• Provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate • Provide a copy of both parents identification select one (Passport, Drivers License, Green Card, and Non Drivers ID).
• Provide a certificate of vaccination against polio for children between the ages of three months old to six years old. If the child cannot be inoculated, please provide us with a notarized approval letter from your primary physician.
• Situation 1. Both parents will be accompanying the child on the trip and will be submitting their adult visa applications along with this application. o Continue to step 9. • Situation 2. If one parent or both parents are traveling with the child and have Brazilian Visas already. o Submit a copy of the front picture page of the parents passport o Submit a copy of the page in the passport which has the Brazilian Visa stamp o Submit a detailed letter from the parents explaining they will be traveling with the child, but have already obtained visas to enter into Brazil. Important: If both parents meet this situation then both parents must write their own individual letter. Remember to sign the letter. o If one parent will not be going on the trip with the child you must include the requirered documents for Situation 3 along with the documents for Situation 2. • Situation 3. If one parent or both parents are not accompanying the child, you must include. o Submit a copy of the parents passport picture page or a copy of the parents birth certificates. o Submit a Notarized consent letter from the parent giving permission to the person the child is traveling with. • Submit a U.S. Postal Service money order payable to the Consulate General of Brazil. • The fee must be made with a United States Postal Service money order (no personal or company checks). On the money order, include your name and date of birth; do not include your address. • Consulate fees are subject to change.
• Complete and submit the FastPort Passport Customer Order Form online. Once you have submitted the form, print a copy and send it along with rest of the documents to FastPort Passport. • Provide a photocopy of your valid states drivers’ license or non drivers ID card. • A utility bill or lease agreement is acceptable showing name and proof of address.
• You must provide a copy of both sides of your U.S. Permanent Resident Card (green card) or your U.S. re-entry visa. If you do not have these, you must provide a copy of a visa to the country of final destination after the trip to Brazil. This requirement does not apply to applicants returning to their country of citizenship.
• Submit 3 most recent bank statements (They must be original) • You must show the Brazilian Consulate you have no less then $100 in your bank account for every day you will be in Brazil. Important: The only document acceptable is a bank statement (Savings or Checking). Another option would be to purchase travelers checks in the amount of $100 for every day you will be in the country, and provide us with copies. • You can also provide us with supporting documents from another individual. o A bank statement from the person who will be supporting you, plus a copy of that person’s passport or driver’s license. o They must also provide a letter stating: 1. what their relationship is to you. 2. They will be providing you with financial support for the time you will be in Brazil. (Include the dates of the trip).
• A business visa (temporary visa: VITEM II) visa would be applicable if you are traveling to Brazil for any of the following reasons: 1. To make a business-related trip, except if it involves providing technical assistance services of any nature. 2. Travel for media coverage or filming. 3. Flight/ship crew members not holding an international crew card. Business visa holders are not allowed to engage in any activity under employment contract with a Brazilian organization/corporation.

• You must provide a letter from your employer or company sponsoring your trip, on their letterhead stationary, and signed by a senior manager (Vice President or above). The letter must briefly introduce the applicant, specifying employment status/position held in the company and the precise nature of the business to be conducted by applicant in Brazil. The employer or sponsoring company shall also specifically attest to each of the following statements: • That the visa applicant will maintain his/her residency in the United States, • That the visa applicant's trip to Brazil is of a short-term nature, • That the goal of the visa applicant's trip to Brazil is strictly for business meetings not involving any technical assistance, • That the visa applicant will not exceed the legally authorized stay per visit, and • That the visa applicant has no intention to immigrate to Brazil
• You must provide an additional letter from your bank, containing financial references.
