Tourist Visa Requirements for Indian

U.S. citizens who have valid passports are required to have a visa. Non U.S. citizens should select the FAQ option on the top menu bar to see if a visa is necessary.

Important: The consulates we will obtain your visa from will only accept forms available from FastPort Passport. If you download a form from another web site it will result in a rejected visa.

1. Submit Valid Passport

• You must send your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page for the visa stamp. (The last three pages of the passport are not visa pages and cannot be counted as such.) If your passport does not meet these requirements, click here to see our passport services.

2. Complete Visa Application Form (click here)

• Fill in your application completely.
• Sign your application

3. Supplemental Form for Sri Lanka Nationals (click here)

• If you are a national of Sri Lanka please complete this form

4. Submit Passport Photographs

• You must provide one recent 2"x2" passport photo. Click here for photo requirements and where to have passport photos taken. Snapshots, vending machine photographs and digital photographs taken by the applicant are not acceptable.

5. Submit Travel Documentation

• You must provide a copy of your round-trip ticket or a booked itinerary showing travel to and from India (confirming the purchase of the ticket, with passenger’s name, itinerary, flight number and arrival/departure dates). Or, if traveling by land, provide a notarized bank letter concerning the balances in your bank accounts, signed by the bank's manager, as proof of financial capacity to pay for your stay in Brazil.

6. Submit Proof Of Residence

• Submit a copy of a drivers license, state id, or utility bill

7. For Non-U.S. Passport Holders

• You must provide a copy of both sides of your U.S. Permanent Resident Card (green card) or your U.S. re-entry visa. If you do not have these, you must provide a copy of a visa to the country of final destination after the trip to Brazil. This requirement does not apply to applicants returning to their country of citizenship.

8. Prepare Check or Money Order for Consulate Fee

• Submit a U.S. Postal Service money order or check payable to the Consulate of India.
• Consulate fees are subject to change.

9. Customer Order Form

• Complete and submit the FastPort Passport Customer Order Form online. Once you have submitted the form, print a copy and send it along with rest of the documents to FastPort Passport. If the service fee is by credit card, make sure to sign the printed customer form.
• Rush Service turnaround time is 2-3 business days
• Standard Service turnaround time is 5-7 business days
• Return shipping is offered on the online visa order form, you can also include a prepaid shipping envelope back to you.

5. Submit Business Letter From The Company Sending You

• Please submit a letter on company letterhead signed by someone in the company other than yourself.
• This letter should introduce the applicant, state how long you will be in India, outline the purpose of the trip, when the trip will be, and that the company will be financially responsible for the applicant.

6. Submit Business Letter From The Company Inviting You

• Submit the letter on foreign company letter head.
• This letter should introduce the applicant, state how long you will be in India, outline the purpose of the trip, when the trip will be, and that the company will be financially responsible for the applicant.
• A faxed letter in acceptable. No Emails
• You only need this letter if you applying for a 10 year visa
