As a pioneer in online travel document services, we realize that earning and retaining your trust is of paramount importance, and it’s a responsibility we take very seriously.

Personal information means information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, telephone number and email address. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy, and become familiar with it, but you should know that we do not and will never sell or rent our customers’ personal information to third parties.

What information do we collect?

Where do We get this information?

You provide most of the information we collect. We also receive information through certain digital technologies when you interact with us. Finally, other companies and government entities may share information with us.

We collect information directly from you. To deliver the products and services you request, customize your experience, and better serve you, we collect information you voluntarily provide as part of using or requesting our products and services. This information includes information you provide, setting up an online account, authenticating your identity, applying for or purchasing a product or service, or applying for employment. It also includes information from documents you choose to upload to your account. If you choose not to provide certain information we request, we may be unable to serve you as our products, services, tools or calculators may rely upon this information.

Our websites may offer publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personal information (e.g., name and city) from our blog or community forum, you can contact us. We collect information from other companies and government entities. In accordance with their privacy notices, our business partners, and unrelated third-parties may share certain information about you with us.

We also collect information when you request services or information from us or companies with whom we have a business relationship, enter contests or sweepstakes, or complete surveys or polls.

To improve the security of our services, to protect your identity, and to protect your information, we may verify your personal information by matching the information you provide against other publicly available information that we obtain from identification verification companies.

In order to place an order through our websites, you must provide us with certain personal information such as your name, your credit card number and expiration date, credit card billing address, address and telephone number, date of birth and date of travel, email address and the name or names of applicants (if other than yourself). We require this information so that we can process your order and keep you informed of each order status.

If you are placing an order for one or more applicants other than yourself, you will need to make sure that each of these other applicant agrees, in advance, that you may disclose their personal information to us. For your convenience, we make certain information about your order available to you or other persons authorized by you to receive such information.

For example, if you forget your order number, you or another person authorized by you may retrieve that information from us after providing sufficient information that either a) confirms your identity as the applicant, or b) that confirms authorization for you to receive information on behalf of the applicant.

How do we use your information?

We use your information to provide you the products and services you request. We may also use your information, as permitted by law, including: to service and report on your account; offer you relevant information, products, or services; and enhance our products and services. These activities may be performed by us or a service provider acting on our behalf.

Who do we share your information with?

The privacy and security of your information is important to us. We do not sell or rent your information (including your social security number). We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. We may however provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities processing your order or offering customer service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.

Here is a specific description of how we use your information:

  • Applicant’s Name: to identify the passport or visa applicant
  • Applicant’s Address: to return the completed passport or visa to the applicant
  • Date of Birth: to check the status of the application with the Department of State
  • Phone Numbers: to contact the applicant for customer service purposes, if necessary
  • Credit Card Numbers: to charge the fees for our services
  • Company Name: to be included as part of the return shipping address for passport
  • Travel Plans: to prioritize the processing of applications by the Department of State
  • Information on passports, marriage certificates or any other original documents you send to us will not be kept by http://www.fastportpassport.com. All documents are returned to the applicant with the completed passport or visa.
  • Passport Number, SSN, and Birth Place are used to complete forms submitted to the government and for no other purpose

In certain situations, FastportPassport, LLC may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We may also disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

What types of web and wireless technologies (including cookies) do we use?

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically. This information may include Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data to analyze trends in the aggregate and administer the site.

FastportPassport uses cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our website or service.

How do we respond to web browser “do not track” signals?

We treat the data of everyone who comes to our websites in accordance with this Privacy Notice, whatever their “do not track” setting. While we do not respond to web browser “do not track” signals, we give you choices about receiving promotional offers from us or third-parties. How long do we keep your information?

In accordance with applicable laws, we keep your information for as long as needed to serve you, maintain your account, as needed to operate our business, or to improve our offerings or develop new ones.

Business Transitions

In the event FastportPassport goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Third-party products and services, including social media features

This Privacy Notice does not apply to products or services offered by third-parties on or through our services (such as bank partners who offer Refund Transfers). You will be able to recognize when a business partner is associated with your transaction when its logo appears or is shown with our logo. You should carefully read the privacy notices and any terms and conditions applicable to such third-party products or services. When you request products or services from such companies, you give us permission to provide these third-parties with information about you necessary to fulfill or process your request.

Updating or deleting your information

Upon request and after proper identity verification, we will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. If you are a user of our online platform, you may access your personal information through those services and, where available, update that information. The types of information that you can access and update may change over time. Remember, some of the information we collect does not identify you personally or is not stored in an online accessible format.

Opting-Out

You may choose to limit our use or our ability to share your information in certain circumstances. You may, however, continue to receive e-mail communications related directly to the services and products you purchase, such as payment receipts and status notifications.

We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at support@fastportpassport.com

We partner with a third party to either display advertising on our website or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our third party partner may use technologies such as cookies to gather information about your activities on this website and other sites in order to provide you advertising based upon your browsing activities and interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served ads. You will continue to receive generic ads.

The Privacy Notice for California Residents (“Privacy Notice”) supplements the information contained in our Privacy Policy, and applies solely to visitors, users and others who reside in the State of California (“consumers” or “you”). This Privacy Notice addresses your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”); any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Privacy Notice. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

This website and our services collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). We may collect or have collected in the past twelve (12) months, the following categories of personal information. We obtain the categories of personal information listed below as set forth in the methods described in the “Where do we get this information?” section of the Privacy Policy.

  1. Identifiers. Such as a real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, or other similar identifiers.
  2. Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)). Such as name, signature, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. Some personal information included in this category may overlap with other categories.
  3. Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law. Such as age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information (including familial genetic information).
  4. Commercial information. Such as records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
  5. Internet or other similar network activity. Such as browsing history, search history, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
  6. Geolocation data. Such as physical location or movements.
  7. Professional or employment-related information. Such as current or past job history or performance evaluations.
  8. Inferences drawn from other personal information. Such as profile reflecting a person’s preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.

USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the business purposes indicated in the “How do we use your information?” section of our Privacy Policy.

We will not collect additional categories of personal information or use the personal information we collected for materially different, unrelated, or incompatible purposes without providing you notice.

SHARING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may disclose your personal information to a third party for a business purpose. When we disclose personal information for a business purpose, we enter a contract that describes the purpose and requires the recipient to both keep that personal information confidential and not use it for any purpose except performing the contract. We share your personal information with the categories of third parties listed in the “Who do we share your information with?” section of our Privacy Policy.

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed the following categories of personal information for a business purpose:

We do not sell personal information. In the event that we do sell any personal information, we will update this Privacy Policy to list the categories of consumers’ personal information sold.

YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

The CCPA provides consumers (California residents) with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

Right to Access Specific Information and Data Portability Right

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past twelve (12) months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:

  1. The categories of personal information we collected about you.
  2. The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
  3. Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
  4. The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
  5. The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
  6. If we disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, the business purpose for which personal information was disclosed, and the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.

Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make such a request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative and describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response electronically. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why We made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
